What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the trade-in form, we collect your name, email address, details about the clubs you want to sell (type, brand, model, condition), any notes you add, and any photos you upload.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect standard analytics data when you visit: pages viewed, how long you stayed, roughly where you're located, what device and browser you used, and which site or link sent you here.
How we use it
- To price your clubs and send you an offer
- To email you a shipping label and arrange payment if you accept
- To follow up about your submission or answer your questions
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it
- To let you know about our store credit program when it launches, if you've traded with us
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your email with other companies for their marketing.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies from two services:
Google Analytics
Helps us see how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they drop off. This is aggregate data we use to make the site work better.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel to measure our advertising and to reach people who may be interested in our service. We have Automatic Advanced Matching enabled, which means that when you submit the form, your email address is converted into a scrambled code (a hash) before it is sent to Meta. Meta uses that code to match the activity to an account. We do not send Meta your raw email address, and Meta cannot recover it from the code.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and you can adjust ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies — the site will still work, though some measurement will be incomplete.
Who else sees your data
We use a few services to run this site and fulfil trades. Each only receives what it needs:
- Netlify hosts the site and processes form submissions
- Google provides analytics and email
- Meta provides advertising measurement
- Shipping and payment providers receive your address and payment details only when you accept an offer
We may also disclose information if we're legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep trade-in submissions as long as we need them for the transaction and our records. If you'd like your information deleted, email us and we'll take care of it, except where we're required to keep records of completed sales.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the email or by replying and asking. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the CCPA or GDPR — email us and we'll honor them.
Children
This site isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
